Florida has more flyable days then any other state in the nation. No snow, no snow shovels. There is a reason everyone comes to Florida....ok so that is Disney, but after that it's the year round flying weather. After all, we are the Sunshine State.
Ocala is centrally located in Florida, giving our students access to many different airspaces and opportunities to land at multiple airports. Our students are also able to obtain training at controlled and uncontrolled airports
Because Ocala International Airport is not a major commercial airport, our students are able to get more flight time and less wait time.
Ocala Aviation is a FAA approved Part 141 and Part 61 flight school. We are also affiliated with major colleges and universities, offering many different options for our students.
Because Ocala Aviation wants you to have the best worry-free experience and flight training possible, we've taken the pressure off of finding accommodations. When you get here we want your main goal to be training, not trying to figure out where to stay. Our accommodation is located a few minutes from the airport. Of course, you are able to arrange your own housing if you want, but we are here for you if you need it.
Ocala Aviation lives by the rule that you hire from within. Ocala Aviation instructors earned their Commercial Pilot Rating with us and sat in the same seats as current students. Our instructors understand what it is like to be a student here, because that is how they started. They have a vested interested in the school and know what it means to put the student first.
